Project by KickStart International

Step beyond the safari and into the heart of Kenya's agricultural transformation. See firsthand how simple irrigation tools are helping smallholder farmers grow more, earn more, and build sustainable livelihoods for their families. Your donation helps KickStart bring the same opportunity to more farmers across Africa.

Your morning begins with a hands-on visit to KickStart's Ngando Demonstration Farm, where their Kenyan R&D team designs and tests the tools transforming smallholder farming across Africa. You'll get a live demonstration of the "MoneyMaker" pump and plant a vertical farm bag in your family's name — mixing the soil, filling the bag, and sowing the seeds yourselves. It's a real, tactile way to understand how Kenyan farmers using KickStart's tools manage their land and grow their livelihoods.

This isn't charity tourism. It's entrepreneurship in action. The day moves seamlessly from strategy to soil, from conversations about scale to conversations with farmers who know what it takes to build thriving farms from the ground up. You'll leave with stories that matter and proof that progress is possible.

"Every pump we put into a farmer's hands is a step toward self-reliance. When you visit Ngando and see the transformation for yourself, you understand that this isn't aid — it's opportunity."
